Things are happening quickly around here! First let me thank the new arrivals (and the “old timers”). Now to the new stuff...

New D’Addario Artist
I have been accepted as a D’Addario Artist and an endorser of D’Addario strings! Here is the lead from the press release:

Mp3.com’s Top Promoter Signs Von Cello
Mp3.com. is the largest independent music distribution site on the
internet. I have just been accepted into the roster of David Blumberg, the #1 promoter on mp3.com! What this means is that I am entering a site with tens of thousands of artists, on the top shelf. In fact, my songs are already climbing the mp3.com charts. The more people who listen, the higher the songs will go, and the higher the songs go, the more people will listen. It all adds up to great exposure (and some pay).
I invite you to come to my page and listen to my songs. The whole CD is playable on the site as streams and you can even download most of the songs. (If you prefer downloading, please download fresh copies each day you listen, so it will be counted on the site.) You can also buy the CD for $5.99! The Endpin
(The endpin is the metal piece attached to the bottom of a cello, so in this final section I will pin some final thoughts.)
“Get the Von Cello CD for 40% off”, that is in effect what you will be getting if you buy the CD for $5.99 on the mp3.com site (as opposed to $9.99 on my site, or $16.99 for a label CD). The mp3 CD (called a DAM CD) is a little different than the original. I don’t know what D.A.M. stands for, but the CD is made from cuts which are in the mp3 format. The quality is very good, but not quite as good as the original. It is also missing the cover art. But, for that low price, you get all the songs. Also, CD sales are worth many downloads in the stats, so it will help my rankings a lot if you buy the DAM CD. (So please, buy the damn CD! Thank you.) :)
I will be giving two clinics for Yamaha at the University of Potsdam this month.
